Kristen M. Cline | Speaker


Kristen currently serves as a full-time flight nurse and base educator for one of the largest hospital-based flight programs in the nation.  This CAMTS accredited program operates 5 bases in three states and Kristen is proficient in fixed and rotor wing operations along with ground transportation, as her program performs both scene and interfacility transports.  Kristen has over 10 years of nursing experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, trauma, emergency and critical care transport specialties, and has worked as a bedside nurse, charge nurse, and education coordinator.  She is also an active TNCC, ENPC, ACLS, and PALS instructor.

Kristen is considered a clinical subject matter expert in emergency nursing and has served as conference faculty for nursing conferences at the state and national level. Her lectures have also been featured as online webinars from the Emergency Nurses Association for continuing education.  She has been published in the Journal of Emergency Nursing and Critical Care Nurse, and serves on the editorial review board of the Air Medical Journal.   She is also an active member of ASTNA and the ENA, and has served on and chaired committees at the state and national level.  In 2015, Kristen was recognized by the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) as Distinguished Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN) of the year.  She was also recognized by her health system, which is the largest rural healthcare system in the nation, for Exemplary Professional Practice.
